I Believe in the Sun Even When it's Not Shining

Yeah, that is a line from a Barlow Girl song. I listen to that album all the time lately when I'm running. It's amazing. I RIYL: girl power, amazing stuff about God, running in the rain.

Also, when I was listening to that song earlier on my RECORD 0:42 4-MILE RUN today in the pouring rain/hail was when I was thinking about what I was going to blog about. I had some great thoughts. I either don't remember them or don't feel like reconstructing them.

Also, this term its RAWKSOME! That is a contraction of "Rocking Awesome". Mostly I think this because of the weather, the awesome people that I have gotten really close to, my fun classes for once, and the fact that I feel like things are finally coming together for this summer and there's no horrible cloud of awfulness or things I have to do hanging over me. Yet. Just wait till my midterms and my term papers are due.

It's great to know where I'm living next fall and that I will be employed. Also, I sent off my application for ICY Africa today and my feeler email to LMBC about possibly getting funding. James knows when I'm coming to TBC. I have a plane ticket to AK. I have several leads on places to store my crap for the summer as well as places to stay/ways to get to Portland at the end of the term. One of them may involve taking a free detour to Seattle and watching the Mariners play. Yes, exciting I know.

More locally, I haven't fallen behind yet in my classes, I'm staying on top of my "Slavery Still Exists" committee that I decided to head and we are meeting on Thursday, and I'm making good progress in running, getting over my cold, and in speed reading.

That is all for tonight, I'm going to go to sleep and get a good, full night's rest.
